How come there's been pretty much no videos lately?
Scoble's got to make up for the vacation time in the Valley
My guess is that you answered your own question. August is vacation time, the end of the summer, got to go somewhere before the kids head back to school type time.
Although PDC is a lot of fun, its still for your career and/or company.
That's my guess.
We have a ton of videos coming. Get ready. The next month is gonna see more videos than the past three months.
Yeah that would explain it. But what do they do the rest of the time

What software do you use to edit these videos and do you use professional cameras or consumer ones?
I know , I know - However your statment can be interpreted as "They code for 4 hours while asleep" by someone (like me) looking for a cheap ha ha
Anyway, I use a Panasonic PV-150 camcorder. I bought it at Best Buy here in Bellevue for about $800 (came out to around $1,000 when I got an extended warranty, extra battery, some tapes and paid tax).
I don't use extra lights, microphones or anything other than a Bogen 3021 tripod with video head (heavy sucker).
I use Windows MovieMaker and Windows Media Encoder.
