Model-View-Controller, or rather MVC is a pattern developed by Microsoft that will enable a developer to build more robust and easier to maintain websites in ASP.Net. People like Scott Guthrie have been very heavy advocates of this pattern. But why do they focus on MVC? What is the engine called Razor behind it? How does it in fact help you to build better software in ASP.Net? In this session Dennis will take a leap around these items (and more!) and show you how you too can be a more efficient and better developer in this area!
Speaker: Dennis Vroegop (DotNed.nl)
Dennis Vroegop (1970) has been developing since the age of 11 in languages such as Basic, Assembler and Pascal. He has always been a geek and proud of it! After studying computer sciences his first job was being a VB1.0 developer. He quickly taught himself C/C++ and then
moved to Delphi. After seeing a very early alpha of .net and c# he dropped everything and moved back to the Microsoft platform. Since then he has done nothing else.
Dennis has been awarded the prestigious MVP C# award numerous years after another but may call himself a Microsoft Surface MVP since October 2010. Dennis is a regular speaker at both national and international conferences and publishes frequently articles on his blog and other sites.Next to his daytime job Dennis is also the chairman of the largest Dutch .net usergroup
dotNed.
