			<![CDATA[ <p>We saw with Steven's demonstration of the new task manager that metro apps are suspended when not visible. Is it possible to create apps that perform background tasks - for example an app which watches a folder and when a file within it changes it does something with it and then (excuse the osx reference) posts a growl like notification to inform the user.</p><p>posted by Daniel_Chatfield</p>]]>
