Why is "Optimizing the graphics stack to improve performance on sleep & resume" an optional feature of WDDM1.2 drivers? I think this is important for the user experience and should be made mandatory. So there should be a bit pressure on graphic vendors to optimize their drivers (remember the bad nVIDIA drivers for Vista?)
1. Where can I get the documents listed on slide #26?
2. From logo perspective; I understand that DX10 is a logo requirement for Win7 and DX10 feature level 9_3 is minimum required for Win8 logo. Where can I find out what is the delta of features between DX10 and DX10 feature level 9_3?
