I am very hopeful that for the next LangNEXT someone will bring a microphone that is capable of recording the human voice at somewhat higher fidelity than what can be achieved with two empty soup cans with a taut string stretched between.  When Alexander Graham Bell said the first words "Mr. Watson - Come here - I want to see you" over the telephone in 1876 it was better fidelity.
