How do I download the videos?

  • To download, right click the file type you would like and pick “Save target as…” or “Save link as…”

Why should I download videos from Channel9?

  • It's an easy way to save the videos you like locally.
  • You can save the videos in order to watch them offline.
  • If all you want is to hear the audio, you can download the MP3!

Which version should I choose?

  • If you want to view the video on your PC, Xbox or Media Center, download the High Quality WMV file (this is the highest quality version we have available).
  • If you'd like a lower bitrate version, to reduce the download time or cost, then choose the Medium Quality WMV file.
  • If you have a Zune, WP7, iPhone, iPad, or iPod device, choose the low or medium MP4 file.
  • If you just want to hear the audio of the video, choose the MP3 file.

You are building apps for the iPhone/iPad, yet you remain curious about what the cloud can offer. Is it possible to deploy scalable, mobile Web applications on Windows Azure? In this session you'll learn how to integrate iOS applications into an existing Windows Azure infrastructure, and what types of applications other organizations are building.     There wasn't an app for that? You didn't search very hard.

    Not only was there an iPhone app _called_ MIX11, there was one last year as well for MIX10 (which had just shy of 1,000 downloads during the conference -- http://mix10.confapp.com).

    This year the iPhone app was joined by a version for Windows Phone 7 and for Android -- http://mix11.confapp.com

    *All* these apps were written using C# and the .NET Framework (yes, the iPhone and Android apps too). If you want to leverage Azure, OData, and other Microsoft tech then being able to develop on those platforms in c# is a good place to start. Check out http://monotouch.net and http://mono-android.net (and http://confapp.com or http://conceptdev.blogspot.com if you like).
