Microsoft Media Platform Video Editor, formerly known as Silverlight Rough Cut Editor, is a web based video editor that can be used to visually create Smooth Streaming Composite Manifests or edit decision lists (EDLs). In this session we’ll do a brief overview of the Video Editor as review for those in the audience that are completely new to it but will mainly rely on last year’s session as a starting point so we can dive into the plans for version 2 of the tool, what we’ve done so far, what we’re planning for future sprints, and how you can get involved in this open source and community based tool.
