Abstract
You might have heard the buzz about HTML5 and CSS3 these days, but you may be confused as to where you can start. These terms refer to a lot of various technologies, as we will discuss, but unfortunately the browser support for them is all over the board. Thankfully there are techniques and tools, such as Modernizr, you can use to confidently use some of these technologies. We will also discuss various ways you can approach your web application and how to develop them in light of all of these new features.

The slides of this session are available at http://elijahmanor.github.com/talks/html5-and-css3/index.html.

Note: due to a technical issue at the event location the quality of the recording is not as it should be and we would like to apologize for that.
