Chris Anderson

Chris started life at Microsoft in 1996 as a tester working on a large database application in the IT group. Since then Chris has worked on developer tools, developer platforms, web user interface platforms, client user interface platforms, database developer technologies, and now back to working on client user interface platforms. Chris’ passion is to make computers more usable by people, and figures that getting millions of developers to build better apps is the best way to do it. Right now he is working in Windows on the UI platforms for building client apps, including XAML, WinJS, and the core accessibility infrastructure. Chris is the happy father of Jacob (4) and Charlotte (1), which is occupying most of his (and his wife Megan’s) time. Chris spends time taking pictures (of Jacob and Charlotte), making videos (of Jacob and Charlotte), and sleeping (when Jacob and Charlotte allow). In his copious spare time… oh wait, there isn’t any.
