Gert Drapers

Gert Drapers is the Principal Group Program Manager of the Data Platform team in the Database Systems Group at Microsoft, Gert is responsible for the data-tier application strategy and delivery, including client & server level programmability and developer tooling. Since joining Microsoft in 1991, Gert has worked in many different engineering roles and on many different projects directly or indirectly related to data platform and SQL Server. His most prominent contributions are: SQL Query Analyzer, SQL Agent, SMO, DTS, System.Transactions, MS-DTC and XPSMTP.
