Youssef Mourra is the founder and Principal Consultant at Nonsuch Consulting. He delivers consulting across all the layers of Project, Programme and Portfolio Management in organisations of any size and type. He is known for developing practical and pragmatic solutions that help you and your organisation achieve your desired business outcomes and to execute your strategy. He currently consults on assignments in Hamilton, Tauranga, Dunedin, Christchurch and Wellington._x000D_ _x000D_ Youssef has over 24 years’ experience in the world of project, programme and portfolio management (P3M) in both delivery and consulting roles. He has an excellent blend of ‘soft’ skills (P3M, consulting & training) and ‘hard’ knowledge (e.g. certified PRINCE2 practitioner and is a recognised expert in Microsoft Project & Microsoft Project Server 2013). This enables him to guide and mentor successfully in P3M. Youssef has led hundreds of consulting engagements ranging from complex project and programme rescues, mobilisation of project offices, to implementation of project management information systems (particularly Microsoft Project Server)._x000D_ _x000D_ Youssef grew up in Sydney and has worked in Australia, the UK, Europe and Asia. For the past 10 years he has been based in Wellington, New Zealand and has gained experience with a number of clients both in the private and public sector across both Australia and New Zealand. He has been a Prince2 Practitioner for the past 10 years and has developed a reputation for thought leadership in the whole PMI and OGC suites of offerings. He has taken the lead in adapting and customising OGC & PMI offerings to make them more practical and more pragmatic for use within Australia, New Zealand, India and the UK._x000D_ _x000D_ Youssef is recognised as a trusted advisor by a number of ‘CXO’ executives and project offices throughout the APAC region. Youssef’s particular area of focus is working with organisations at that ‘CXO’ level to help develop methodologies, strategies and approaches to identifying and prioritising portfolios of projects._x000D_ _x000D_ Youssef particularly enjoys the interaction with people in all assignments. He is a member of the Prince2 User group and the PMI in NZ and regularly speaks at functions organised by the PMI, Microsoft and other related trade associations. He has spoken and presented at numerous TechEd sessions over the past few years and has always concentrated on Microsoft Project & Project Server, his preferred project management toolset._x000D_ _x000D_ Youssef is married and has three children under 11 and when he has time, he enjoys music, reading, fruit trees, cricket, theatre, travel, wine, politics and etymology (the history and study of words).
