My name is Dilesh Dhokia. I am a senior development lead at Microsoft working on the Windows Hardware Certification Kit. My main focus is to drive the development and implementation of the kit. Prior to Microsoft, I have been developing software in a number of different industries starting with mining, aerial survey, variety of embedded devices, printing and clinical. My experience varies from high level (internet development) to embedded development (CE). I have been involved with prototype systems such as ClassMate and One Laptop per Child (OLPC) where my main responsibility was to lead the development to get Windows running on these systems. The work involved USB (Boot), SD (Boot), SSD without controller, BIOS, performance, memory and battery analysis as well as assistance in a number of unique hardware devices (Wireless, HID and Video). Before my day really starts, you can find me taking on different technical challenges on the squash court.
