James Clarke

James Clarke is a Lead Program Manager on the Windows Input and Composition Engine (ICE) team where the infrastructure and plumbing for fast and fluid system interaction gets built. For Windows 8.1, he has been working on high DPI support for desktop applications, the Desktop Window Manager and other aspects of the core Window platform. Prior to joining Microsoft James spent 9 years as C.T.O. of London-based startup ROOT6. In his spare time he enjoys photography, music, and spending time with his family in Redmond, WA where he now lives.
