Martyn Lovell
Martyn Lovell is the Development Manager for the Windows Runtime team – responsible in Windows 8 for the new language and API platform for building apps. In 16 years at Microsoft he has worked on User Interface Platforms, C++ Libraries and language, source control, debugging and the Visual Studio IDE. In his free time he likes to attend theatre and ballet, build Lego, travel and play pinball. He also organizes large-scale "letterboxing" puzzle events at Microsoft, most recently resulting in him dressing up as an aging rock star called Wupf. There is now agreement that his accent sounds like he is "from somewhere else" no matter where he is..
