I am Murari Sridharan and am a Principal Development Lead in the Windows Core Networking team. My team is responsible for Winsock and TCP/IP protocol development delivered as part of the core networking stack across Windows Client and Windows Server. We deliver a single stack that works across a wide variety of environments with network speeds ranging from few hundred kilo bytes to tens of gigabytes. For Windows 8 some of the key features my team worked on are Hyper-V Network Virtualization, Registered IO, Kernel mode RDMA, RSS, RSC and Datacenter TCP. In my spare time I love to ski, spend time with friends and family, listen to music and under sufficient intoxication, play my violin.
