Programming with SharePoint can be a nice experience... or a nightmare. To prevent the second, we should row with the oars that we have as developers, and one of the most appealing tool we have in SharePoint 2010 is the “Developer Dashboard”. The Dashboard gives us out-of-the-box a plethora of information about what is happening internally with the system, but, additionally, we can extend it in different ways to make it works exactly in the way we want.

This is a Level 400 presentation oriented explicitly to SharePoint developers. Main themes to be touched:
- General introduction to the SharePoint 2010 Developer Dashboard, configuration, performance and limitations
- Manipulating the properties and user rights
- Programming it with DotNet
- Programming it with Java Script
- Some enlighten examples
