This session will outline and detail Microsoft's well-managed, optimised desktop strategy and is the pre-cursor to the whole desktop track for TechEd 2009. We will cover Microsoft's desktop and application virtualisation strategy and technologies. This all demo session will follow a marketing executive who wants flexibility and the ability to work wherever, whenever. He wants to work from home. He wants to work on the go. He wants to allow contractors into his department with the own PCs! He wants to work from his office and collaborate, communicate and integrate with his peers and managers. How do you deal with the pressure this places on IT. How do you allow a contractor with an unknown PC into your organisation? How do you keep your corporate information secure? How do you build it? Mange it? Secure it? In this session we will show you how the power of Windows and System Center can combine to enable these scenarios securely and in a well-managed environment.
