The Windows Server 2008 R2 File Classification Infrastructure (FCI) provides insight into your data to help you manage it more effectively, reduce costs, and mitigate risks. The FCL provides a built-in solution for file classification that allows administrators to automate manual processes with predefined policies based on the business value of the data. It also provides an extensible infrastructure upon which ISVs can build end-to-end solutions that enable organizations to perform advanced classification and data management, and helps enable Microsoft partners to deliver rich classification solutions. These capabilities can be leveraged by products spanning from information leakage prevention products to backup, archival, and HSM. This session showcases a demo, as well as highlights how administrators can utilize the inbox functionality, and the integration opportunities for partners and IT organizations.
