System Center 2012 delivers an unbelievable amount of automation and self service capabilities, but where do you start? This session will help you understand what self service capabilities are delivered natively with each component in the System Center 2012 suite. This ranges from application distribution to Windows 8 clients with Configuration Manager, VM provisioning with Virtual Machine Manager or complete Private Cloud management with Orchestrator. In addition learn how the Service Catalog in Service Manager and the automation delivered via Orchestrator runbooks allows you to centralise the self service functionality into a single portal. Utilising Orchestrator runbooks and integration packs, allows the automation to extend beyond System Center to many systems deployed in your environment. This session will show you how you can get the most out of automation and the System Center 2012 suite, whether it is for managing a simple AD group membership task, or delivering a complete Private Cloud provisioning process.
