Windows Server 2012 includes two great new features to increase both performance and reliability. NIC teaming, a new feature in Windows Server 2012 provides greater availability and performance to your environment through link aggregation, switch independent mode, and supported load balancing algorithms. To add to this SMB 3.0 includes a capability called SMB Multichannel that provides scalable and resilient connections to SMB shares that dynamically create multiple connections for single sessions or multiple sessions on single connections depending on connection capabilities and current demand. This session delves deep into both of these great new features, and how to use them in your organization.
