Windows Server 2012 dramatically increases the scalability, flexibility, and availability of your storage environment. It also provides new ways to manage your storage environment including single ‘pane of glass’ experience for storage and file services on standalone and clustered servers, pooling storage and allocating capacity with appropriate resiliency and performance for Windows, and a consistent storage management experience to configure Windows Storage Spaces or hardware subsystems. This session delves into these topics, as well as managing the deduplication policies to save storage capacity, remote/network access to Windows storage including SMB and NFS file shares for Information Workers and Applications as well as iSCSI block storage for diskless boot and application data, and ways to investigate and troubleshoot common end-user issues.
