Volume Activation (VA) is an infrastructural solution for managing activation in the enterprise for Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, and Microsoft Office 2010. It is a required aspect of deployment and one that is very different from the method used for Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, the 2007 Microsoft Office system, or Microsoft Office 2003. You will be making some important design decisions to create VA infrastructure that is simple, yet satisfies a wide variety of deployment scenarios and configurations. This session provides you with seven essential elements to know about Volume Activation including design recommendations for effective integration of VA into your deployment efforts.
