SQL Server 2008 R2 StreamInsight makes it possible to build standing queries that monitor huge volumes of events in real time and take action when certain thresholds are met. In this session you will learn advanced StreamInsight query design techniques, including projection, filtering, joins, unions and aggregations. You will also learn how to use event windows to perform computations within an interval, including hopping, tumbling, snapshot and count windows. Advanced query concepts such as TopK, group and timestamp modification will also be covered.
