Microsoft has added some great new features to Team Foundation Server 2010 to help with concurrent development. A critical factor for you getting the most out of these features is for you to understand the version control subsystem. In this session you will: learn how to set up your repository structure for concurrent development; learn about different branching techniques like 'branch by feature' and 'branching for release'; learn about the core concepts that every developer should know, as well as those that are the domain of the release manager; learn about the cost of integration; and look at techniques to keep your team working in the face of concurrent releases, with support for major releases as well as service packs and hot fixes.
