Windows Server “8” provides the most highly cloud-optimized operating system available today. VPN site-to-site technology enables cross-premise connectivity between enterprises and hosting service providers, and BranchCache improves performance and saves bandwidth when users access remote services over the WAN. In this talk we’ll explain how to use the Unified Remote Access role to connect to private subnets in a hosting provider, and how to deploy BranchCache to maximize performance and compensate for added latency and bandwidth constraints. We’ll discuss new features that make BranchCache and the Unified Remote Access role easy to deploy and we’ll explain how to connect to hosting providers using existing network infrastructure and the Internet Key Exchange-IP security (IKEv2-IPsec) protocol. We’ll highlight the new features in BranchCache that enable greater bandwidth savings and the ability to scale to larger offices with more people. #TEWSV333
