For many people, server deployment means DVD media to install a new operating system or sector-based imaging tools, manual build checklists and several hours moving data and configurations from the old server into new servers. If any of this applies to you, then this session is for you. We begin by discussing the changes and enhancements to imaging, network deployment tools, VHD Boot and how that is configured. Much of the time is spent discussing the new server migration tools and resources and finally we present how the imaging, deployment, role configuration and migration tools are integrated through fully-automated task-sequencing tools like Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit.
