Enterprise content management is the holy grail of SharePoint deployment. At the heart of it is how to allow users to easily file and find documents for their own use or publishing to their colleagues. Aoraki Polytechnic (along with a further 13 polytechnics in New Zealand) have been successful in starting to harness the power of SharePoint for compliance grade document, records and content management – on an aggressive time scale and at costs significantly below other alternatives. In this session, Rob Talbot of Aoraki Polytechnic will share how this has all come about – and what issues they have dealt with. Sarah Heal of Information Leadership will lift the hood on the unique methodology that has helped to shape this real success story
