This is the first of a two-part session which drills into both upgrade and greenfield installation and configuration of Configuration Manager 2007. Over these two breakout sessions learn how to prepare for deployment of Configuration Manager 2007 in a new or upgrade environment, reviewing sizing, performance, security and network issues. The session examines Configuration Manager 2007 server roles, security modes, and the configuration steps required for management of Internet-Based Clients. By the end of these two sessions you will understand how to design Configuration Manager 2007 deployments and the various steps needed to complete an upgrade or new installation.
