Visual Studio 2010 brings a range of new capabilities for anybody doing team-based Windows development. This session begins with a broad introduction to the new Visual Studio landscape, showing the role played by each part of this toolset. It then walks through the primary scenarios that the 2010 release targets, including building in quality throughout the development process, working with legacy applications, and heterogeneous development with Java, Oracle, and other non-Microsoft technologies. The goal is to provide a big-picture view of what Visual Studio 2010 offers and how it can be used.
