When was the last time you saw a computer with only a single CPU and single core? Even smaller devices have more than one core and it’s fairly common to find machines with four cores, eight cores, and even more. This presentation dives into key areas of support, including the new System.Threading.Tasks namespace, PLINQ, and some of the new coordination data structures that ease the burden of writing parallel code.
