Slides (view online)This session covers a group of calculations in T-SQL that can help in addressing a wide variety of querying tasks. It first describes the limitations and shortcomings of traditional, or classic, T-SQL constructs that are used to address common querying tasks. It then explains how T-SQL evolved, and keeps evolving, adding new language constructs that address those limitations very elegantly and efficiently. This session describes the gradual improvements in SQL Server T-SQL support from SQL Server 2005 through SQL Server 11--code-named "Denali".

@DaveDustin:
Thanks for reporting this. I notified MS. In the meanwhile, I made the slides available here: http://tsql.solidq.com/resources.htm#Source_code.
Cheers,
Itzik
