Upsizing and Modernizing with the Microsoft BI Stack and Fast Track Data Warehouse

In 2010,Stein Mart deployed a Microsoft SQL Server Fast Track Data Warehouse and launched an aggressive effort to become an information-based culture leveraging the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack. This session provides a detailed description of the infrastructure as it existed before and after the deployment of Microsoft Fast Track Data Warehouse Reference Architecture. Additionally,a detailed description of the Microsoft BI stack integration and how it is being used to create an information based culture using Microsoft SharePoint,Microsoft PerformancePoint Server,SQL Server Reporting Services,SQL Server Analysis Services,and new mobile devices are discussed. The main focus of the session is on how the Microsoft BI stack closely integrates with Stein Mart’s core business systems,and how the tools used to impact decision making. This session showcases the all up implemented solution with key-takeaways and learning experiences.
