Virtualizing Windows 7 desktops provides new challenges for Group Policy administrators, interested in managing desktop lockdown while at the same time ensuring that the advantages of VDI are maintained. This session looks at best practices around how to deploy and use Group Policy in VDI environments, including why and when to use loopback processing, which Group Policy settings can have a positive and negative impact on VDI performance and how best to incorporate Group Policy into your VDI “master image” processes.
