It explains what BranchCache is and how it works, covering the different modes of operation, deployment model and the architecture of the integration with the HTTP and SMB protocols. It also covers advanced features related to content chunking and hashing schemes and dives deep into the BranchCache security model with a discussion of anticipated attacks and mitigations. It includes live demos of the BranchCache deployment and management tools and shows several accelerated server workloads operating over a simulated slow network.
