Great informative and entertaining session that includes examples showing the performance gains that are possible with Tabular and DAX !
Slides cannot be accessed . . .
I liked it very much.
I knew Alberto Ferrari and Marco Russo in Milan , in SQL SERVER 2012 CONFERENCE, and i appreciate a lot them, they really are very good teachers...
I think it is a very good video about TABULAR vs MULTIDIMENSIONAL that clarify a lot of doubts about which of them to use.
Besides i am interested to buy their new book...i think it will be very useful ....
The only pain is that TABULAR you can use only if you buy an ENTERPRISE VERSION...it is a pity....
Very interesting demo and good fun too. Thank you.
You can use Tabular also with the Business Intelligence version of SQL Server. Only the Standard version does not include Tabular.
