In this session we will focus on the database and application administrators of SQL Azure, including the significant enhancements introduced with the refreshed SQL Azure Management Portal The cloud introduces a paradigm shift in how we manage and troubleshoot our applications. Administrators need to also go through a role shift in order to be able to manage and troubleshoot this new class of applications. In this session we will define what this new role looks like and the different ways administrators can manage and troubleshoot their cloud databases and applications today. We will look at four key areas: application lifecycle, application schema, application health, and application security. We will dive into what tools to use and how to manage each of these four key areas today. The session will wrap up with a look at the upcoming features and roadmap in SQL Azure for administrators. #TEDBI326
