Today, most Agile teams are using Scrum. Microsoft uses it internally and so do your competitors. It’s time you take a serious look at this framework for managing complex projects, such as software development. In this session, learn how to implement Scrum in Team Foundation Server (TFS) using the Visual Studio Scrum template, new Agile project management tools, and related best practices. We create and manage a product backlog, forecast and plan our work for a Sprint, and manage our Sprint tasks using the new tools in TFS.

  • Very useful presentation for those initiating in ALM using TFS and Scrum. Some of the features have been improved with Updates 1 and 2. For example, now you can easily choose and order the columns you want to display instead of editing some XML (as Richard did), and now theres a Kanban board, in addition to the work board.

The Current Sprint query was not corrected, though (for Sprints <> 1).
