Release management is one of the key processes in a DevOps strategy. This session presents an overview of the key concepts of continuous delivery and then focuses on capabilities of Release Management for Visual Studio 2013 and how to leverage them to implement a modern release pipeline. We cover how to implement a simple to complex approval workflow, how to automate common deployments scenarios across multiple stages, and how to diagnose and audit releases. Extensibility and the business approver experience are also discussed briefly.
