    <title>Gert Drapers</title>
    <description><![CDATA[Gert Drapers is the Principal Group Program Manager of the Data Platform team in the Database Systems Group at Microsoft, Gert is responsible for the data-tier application strategy and delivery, including client &amp; server level programmability and developer tooling. Since joining Microsoft in 1991, Gert has worked in many different engineering roles and on many different projects directly or indirectly related to data platform and SQL Server. His most prominent contributions are: SQL Query Analyzer, SQL Agent, SMO, DTS, System.Transactions, MS-DTC and XPSMTP.     <description><![CDATA[In the last 10 years that Karandeep Anand has been at Microsoft, he has worked across a wide variety of products and services ranging from Windows Client, Windows Server, System Center, and Windows Azure. In his role as the Group Program Manager for Windows Azure Management & UX Platform, Karan is responsible for the end to end management story for Microsoft’s cloud computing platform. His team defines and delivers the over experience for Windows Azure, right from discovering Windows Azure to signing-up, billing, building and managing apps at cloud scale. In his most recent role, he was responsible for the transformation of the Windows Azure UX to being modern, open and flexible and is now focused on building the ecosystem story for Windows Azure platform. He joined Microsoft in 2006 when Microsoft acquired Winternals Software, the company he cofounded in 1996, as well as Sysinternals, where still he authors and publishes dozens of popular Windows administration and diagnostic utilities. A founding member of the .NET project, Guthrie has played a key role in the Microsoft developer space since 1998. Today, Guthrie manages the development teams that build the developer platform for Windows Azure, Windows AppFabric Server, BizTalk Server, IIS, ASP.NET, WCF, WF and the Web, and Web Service and Workflow features of Visual Studio.
