Corey Sanders

Corey Sanders has been a member of the Windows Azure team for more than 3 years and Microsoft for 9 years. Corey is currently the Group Program Manager that owns the Windows Azure Compute Runtime, actively involved in designing, development and release of the REST API and agent components for the Windows Azure compute stack. Corey also created and delivered the Infrastructure Services release on Windows Azure, recently launching General Availability. Prior to Windows Azure, Corey spent five years as a developer in the Windows Serviceability team. In Windows Serviceability, Corey's team owned networking and install technologies of all released versions of Windows. Corey lives in downtown Seattle and loves the area, despite the weather.

Glenn is a PM on the WCF team working on Microsoft’s future HTTP and REST stack. Prior to WCF he was a PM on the new Managed Extensibility Framework in .NET 4.0. He has experience both inside and outside Microsoft developing software solutions for ISVs and the enterprise. He has also been active in involving folks from the community in the development of software at Microsoft. This has included shipping products under open source licenses, as well as assisting other teams looking to do so.

Jai has worked in the software development for over 15 years with experience in SQL and NO-SQL storage systems and has published papers on topics such as Query Optimization and Highly Available Cloud Storage Services

Scott Guthrie

Scott Guthrie is a Corporate Vice President in Microsoft's Server and Tools Business division, where he is responsible for delivering the development platform for Windows Azure, as well as the .NET Framework and Visual Studio technologies used in building Web and server applications. A founding member of the .NET project, Guthrie has played a key role in the Microsoft developer space since 1998. Today, Guthrie manages the development teams that build the developer platform for Windows Azure, Windows AppFabric Server, BizTalk Server, IIS, ASP.NET, WCF, WF and the Web, and Web Service and Workflow features of Visual Studio. Guthrie graduated with a degree in computer science from Duke University.

Scott Hanselman

Scott Hanselman works for Microsoft as Principal Community Architect for Web Platform and Tools, aiming to spread the good word about developing software, most often on the Microsoft stack. Before this he was the Chief Architect at Corillian Corporation, now a part of Checkfree, for 6+ years and before that he was a Principal Consultant at STEP Technology for nearly 7 years. His team is responsible for the core runtime, Platform as a Service, developer experience, extensibility & API surface of the Windows Azure Platform. Vijay has over 16 years of industry experience focused on Product Strategy, Software Architecture, design and engineering and has worked with customers, partners & open source communities including IBM, Oracle, SAP, Siebel, Intel, Eclipse Foundation & Apache Software Foundation. He has been at Microsoft for more than 14 years in number of engineering & strategy roles and most recently drove modeling, business frameworks and extensibility for Visual Studio in the company’s Developer Division.
