if those were all flatscreen, i'd understand, but CRT? hell no. too clunky

The depth of the box is only a big issue when trying to move them
Desk space also figures into the equation, but that's solved by moving the tables farther from the wall, so the CRTs' base is roughly aligned with the back end. It's about efficiency.
It's about geekiness. It's about sterility (not really, but I wouldn't be suprised).
Ever seen the Starfield screen saver when it wraps around you? Uber cool. -
Man..! Thats a lot of monitors, i can count atleast 6 including an LCD.

As of this pic, it was 7. 5 one one sys, 1 on one sys, and 1 on a KVM to 3 systems. Then there's the laptop, PDA, digicams...
