Was just testing the stream for Bill Gates' keynote today and noticed that the video stream says it is due to start at 8.30PM (PDT) on Sept 13th. On the
website it says 8.30AM.
Which is correct?

The keynote starts at 8.30am (about 3 hours after the time this message is being posted).
On a totally separate note, you need to email me your snail mail address for that Microsoft pen you asked for. To be honest there are so many different ones available it was hard to make a choice, but I got you a couple.

Webcast no worky.

Memo to BillG Webcast dept: If BillG is introducing a new version of Windows & Office to the planet, take your orginal estimate of number of likely hits and times by 1,000. -
I'm connected, seems to work. Of course, I was smart and connected half and hour ago.
They haven't started yet though.
EDIT: They have now. -

hey.. it's all working. Webcast dept, sorry, I take it all back. -
Damn, we never get to see the cool videos!

EDIT: Can anybody else hear that radio station in the background? Interference maybe? -
What's so proprietary about a (likely comedic) college recruiting video? [6]

Can't hear a darn thing. -
The webcast works here. Unfortunately it looks like they're going to block all the good stuff, starting with Bill's college recruitment video.

"Due to the proprietary nature of the content being broadcast we must temporarily sispend the audio and video portion of this telecast."

It's quite soft. But it's definitely not local, we don't have English-language radio stations over here, and it goes away if I mute the stream. -
You think you're ticked now. Wait until they cut the Webcast back on to the audience applauding, making you wonder what you missed...

-
Yeah, what's up with that? I thought only Sony used proprietary stuff?[C]
