I'm just disaffected with Microsoft constantly dumbing-down their software to meet the lowest-common-demoniator (i.e: home users). There's little left in the sack for "power users" who demand usability and functionality over "first time" ease of use.

Oh give me a break...

Did you know that almost everything in office has a keyboard shortcut... isn't that enough productivity for you ?
And what's with usability... usability means that you get to do the tasks you do more with ease, means consistency across the application (and not the different versions of the application)... isn't that what's being adressed here ?
Functionality... well.. office has alot of functionalities some of them so "hidden" that most users don't even know about them... again, this release is here to fix that, to give you an in-your-face large 128x128 button that's related to an action you might want to do in the given context.

Guess you'll have to try office12 after all right ? wait for the keynote
