Well, i searched for manip because of
this thread and found
this:
Manip: A Strategy Package for PVS
Sequent manipulations for an interactive prover such as PVS can often be labor intensive. This unsatisfying situation has prompted our research into tactic-based proving. Our goal is to enhance interactive deduction for specialized domains. Manip is
an experimental package of PVS strategies (tactics) developed at NASA Langley Research Center. It is designed to reduce the tedium of low-level arithmetic manipulation. Included are strategies aimed at algebraic simplification of real-valued expressions as
well as term-access techniques applicable in arbitrary settings. The approach is fairly generic and can be adapted to other mathematical domains. Many of the implemented features are already suitable for general-purpose proving activities.
so i am wondering is there a way or reason you choose your aliases.
(mine is that when i registered with hotmail everything with Shmuel was taken and i had to come up with something fast so shmuel + programmer = Shmuelpro and i just stuck with that)
