To be fair, you know as well as I do that a TE IS a marketing position. Also, Channel 9 IS a marketing site: it's designed to help create greater awareness amongst developers of how Microsoft actually works, and to put a more human face to Microsoft.
I'm not sure who said it wasn't a marketing project. It's not a Marketing project (with caps). But it still has marketing goals, marketing power and marketing potential. Huge marketing potential.
