In his defense, his shorts are at a respectable height (i.e., not up to his armpits).

You guys shouldn't make fun of Bill on account of him being 80 years old and all.  Those socks are probably special prescription orthopedic socks for like a medical condition or something.

It is a sign that he is a true geek, for what its worth.  He doesn't care enough to worry about the exact placement of socks.  Myself, so long as they don't have holes, then they're fine.

AmI the only one who thinks those are normal socks? If they were "high" socks, they'd be up to the knees...
