How many of you are planning on wiping your C: clean before installing VS2005? Im going to rebuild my OS just for the fresh clean feeling, and also avoid any upgrade complications with Beta2 and RC2 bits.

I'm going to, but I don't know which computer is going to be the lucky one.

Was lucky enough that my company allowed me to purchase a new machine just for VS 2005 and WinFX development.
Got XP+SP2 and VS 2005 Beta 2 installed (only version that currently works with WinFX) and I'm having a ball.
I also have Vista 5231 on a laptop - unfortunately only 5219 works with WinFX, but I'll be upgrading anyway as soon as the next CTP build comes out (hopefully this time with the corresponding WinFx build).
My only complaint so far: not easy to work with XAML. The XAMLpad is really basic, Aurora's tool is not that great and .... there's nothing else. Can we get a beta of the Expression tool for creating XAML? -
I'm going to try the uninstall tool first before deciding whether or not to spend the whole day again with installing

Yeah i agree with the issues working with XMAL. I use VS for XMAL but Sparkle would be very cool

I was planning on reinstall all my PCs in one big weekend. How fun!!!
But sadly it needs to be done, my laptop is dead - has XP Home on it aswell, base install - had it two years, think it needs it by now.
Main Machine 1 - XP Pro installed day it was released on msdn. Never reinstalled, gone a bit slow.
Main Machine 2 - XP Pro, brand new pc with XP Pro + VS 2005 Beta 2. Don't know if I should or not, happy with the build so I might leave it and see if I get problems at a later point.
Work Machine - being reisntalled ASAP. So unproductive working on it, only has 2003 on it so will be clean for VS 2005.
I also need some new parts, two case fans have died in my machines and main machine 1 just lost a harddrive
so I dont know if i should replace it with an external (2.5" usb2 60gb would be nice) or not. -

There are quite a few other tools that you can play with. Have you tried Acrylic or Zam3D? There's also some exporters for Illustrator and Maya. Amongst those there should be enough to keep you occupied. -
