Hi there.
Is it me or is there a lack of Microsoft Press Publications in the UK?
I've been trying to find books on C#/.net from waterstones and the British Library, but to no avail.
result, Publish more books in the UK.

I get most of my books from Borders in the UK. I live in York and our store has a wide selection.
-
ahh but are they imported or published, more than likely imported.

I've bought ms press books from Waterstones in Birmingham. They have a good selection that are not tagged as being imported.
Why so interested in ms press books specifically? A lot of ms people write some very good books that are published by other companies, Addison Wesley for example. -
i'm targetting MS Press cause this is an MS site.... but you're right
http://blpc.bl.uk/
could you search some books up on there and see if the BL have them? i seem to find 7 under C[hash] and a zillion under c# -
I have no problems, the local books shops have excellent stock of all the current books from both Microsoft and elsewhere. If worst came to worst I could order off of amazon or order though the book-shop. Other than out-of-publication books, I have not had any problems getting hold of books here.

have you tried Computer Manuals compman.co.uk ?
Although you don't get to physically hold the book and check it out you can get any book you KNOW you want there and at a good price too, cheapest I have ever seen. Also if you already own one of the books they have on file, put up a review and they'll send you a discount voucher. Sign up for their regular newsletter and you'll get a 10% discount code from time to time too.
