The way I see it is Microsoft can just say "nope", close up any subsideries, and continue to sell their products.  At the end of the day, a lot of people would still buy products from Microsoft, although
I guess the long term effect would SK moves to non-Microsoft products.

I wonder if just shutting down subsidiaries would be enough to avoid the suits?

All the uncertainty of Microsoft's future in Korea would probably force people to find alternatives, I think. Microsoft just made that worse for themselves. That's my concern.

But under what juristiction would selling the products to SK come under if Microsoft had no presense in that country?  How could Korean law prosecute an alien entity?  *head explodes*  I don't understand law at all Perplexed
