Can you install SQL Server 2005 side-by-side with SQL Server 2000?
I know VS Studio 2005 can't be side-by-side with VS 2003...

Both run side-by-side without any problems. Make sure to create a new instance of SQL Server when installing SQL 2005. Specifying the SQL 2000 instance will upgrade it to SQL 2005. -
